Welcome and you want to know something. We have many years of experience with Film SLR, Medium Format and Digital SLR cameras to ensure you will receive creative, reliable and quality photography on your special day. Whether your event is a wedding or commercial PR shoot, rain or sunshine we will be there on time and ready to go.

We have been using Fuji, Kodak, Ilford, Agfa: slide, negative colour, black and white film many years before digital DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) came onto the scene. I still believe 'film wedding photos' look timeless with depth and rich colours. Through public demand, digital has taken over (Cd vs Vinyl) and you get photographic prints the level of current technology has to offer. A professional can photograph your Event and do very little or literally zero post-Photoshop. In film camera days that was the art of real-photography. There was no LCD preview, only Polaroid.

Family groups, portraits, anniversaries and special occassions require advance booking. Due to limited number of weekends during the calendar year. You're welcome to phone or email to enquire for our availability.

During our photography career we have photographed memoriable weddings, amazing commercial work in New Zealand and abroad in Australia. Our commercial clients are based throughout New Zealand, so we do travel to other cities for work. Photography is our full time work for many years. Our motto is, we offer good value for money, though we wish we can charge you heaps. But we're from West Auckland (Westies) and don't believe in overcharging customers so you can sit on fancy leather sofas and drink Sauvignon blanc to soften you up for the expensive purchase. Your Event may never be repeated again, that's why you hire the professionals, Robert and Donna Photography.
